For the past 60 years during intense research on the causes and
treatments for cancer --- the focus has been on finding “The
Magic Bullet.” Theory after theory has come and gone. Each
has produced its own crop of “cures”, and each, in turn,
has quietly slipped into oblivion as it was proven yet again to
be another blind alley. Alpha-Interferon, Gleevec, MTX and others,
took their turns on the covers of Newsweek or Time, proclaiming
to be THE magic bullet that was going to bring an end to the scourge
of cancer. And each, in turn, has failed; --but not completely.
The common defect of these approaches --and most current efforts--
is that each takes a compartmentalized view. They try and separate
the patient’s cancer from the patient, --they see the immune
system as separate from their endocrine system --- the drugs and
the drug effects separate from the patient's nutritional status,
etc.. THAT’S what has failed .
Based on our Research and experience, our approach is to integrate
rather than segregate ---to complement rather than isolate. Taking
this broader view requires the assessment of a wide range of patient
factors; including immunodiagnostics, immunohistochemistry and cytopathology.
MRL's algorithm integrates this data, and much more, to produce
an individualized set of recommended treatment protocols, using
a blend of allopathic, biologic, naturopathic, and nutritional techniques
that support the patient’s biochemistry and reconstitutes
their immune system. Life style, attitude and emotional state also
play a critical role.
The prescribed treatments are immunologically-based and thus, significantly
less toxic and, in the long run, much less expensive than protocols
currently in use.
